CatsOnly™ Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
1. WHO WE ARE
CatsOnly, LLC ("CatsOnly," "we," "us," or "our") is building a specialized network of feline-only hospitals, rooted in a reverence for cats. Our mission is to transform the landscape of feline healthcare by championing gold-standard, species-specific care and raising the bar for cats, their caregivers, and the bond they share.
2. WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS
This Privacy Policy describes what "Personal Information" we collect about you, how we collect it, how we use it, who we disclose it to and why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. "Personal Information" is defined in Section 4.
This Privacy Policy covers all of our services, including those offered through our website at catsonly.vet (the "Site") (collectively, the "Services"). Our Services include scheduling appointments, responding to requests for veterinary services, providing information about our services, registering for events, subscribing to educational and marketing communications, and providing client support. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully in its entirety.
3. CHILDREN’S USE OF OUR SERVICES
Our Services are not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from, anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we may have collected Personal Information about your child, please contact us as described in Section 16.
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, as described in Section 15.
4. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
"Personal Information" means information that, on its own or in combination with other information, can be used with reasonable effort to identify an individual, such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, and payment card information.
You do not need to provide us with any Personal Information to browse the Site. If you want to book an appointment, enroll in our Membership Plan, subscribe to our newsletter, register for an event, or otherwise interact with us, you will need to provide certain Personal Information.
We collect Personal Information in three ways: directly from you, from third-party sources, and automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
4.1 Personal Information You Provide Us Directly
- Contact Information: your name, physical address, email address, and telephone number, collected when you book a visit, enroll in our Membership Plan, sign up for our newsletter, respond to our offers, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Demographic Information: such as your age or date of birth, where you provide it.
- Financial Information: payment card information for veterinary services. Payments are processed by our payment processor.
- Commercial Information: records of the services you purchase and your transaction history with us.
- Communications: the content of emails, text messages, and other communications you exchange with us, call logs, and appointment information. Email is not a secure channel; please use caution when sending us confidential information by email.
4.2 Personal Information We May Obtain from Third Parties
We may obtain Personal Information about you from:
- Marketing databases and data enrichment companies;
- Third-party retailers, when you order goods through their online store that require veterinary approval. We do not control the Personal Information those retailers collect, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies;
- Publicly available sources, such as websites and search engines;
- Other sources, including government entities, advertising networks, social networks, and advertising and marketing partners.
4.3 Personal Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and how you use the Site, using cookies and similar technologies ("Tracking Technologies"). Section 8 explains which technologies we use, what they do, and how to control them. In some jurisdictions this information is Personal Information. It includes:
- Device and online identifiers: IP address, cookie IDs, advertising IDs, browser type and settings, operating system, referring website, and the identifiers our advertising and analytics partners assign to your browser.
- Site activity: the pages you view, the date and time of each visit, how you arrived at the Site, how you interact with pages and forms, and whether you open or click on our emails.
- Booking activity: how you interact with our online booking tool, which is provided by a third party and described in Section 8.3.
- Approximate location: inferred from your IP address. We use it to show you the correct cookie choices for your region and for analytics and advertising. You can limit location collection through your device settings.
5. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use Personal Information to (a) operate and improve the Site, (b) deliver the Services, (c) measure and improve our advertising and marketing, and (d) carry out the transactions you request. This includes providing customer service, processing payments, performing research and analysis to improve our Services, sending you emails and SMS messages after you have consented to receive them, and providing targeted advertising as described in Section 6.
We may send service communications such as appointment reminders and confirmations, welcome messages, and notices about changes to the Site or our Services. We may also use your Personal Information to send you offers and promotions. Your right to opt out of targeted advertising is described in Sections 8, 9, 12, and 13.
We may also use Personal Information to protect and conduct our business, including to enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements, to improve the security of our systems, to exercise or defend legal claims, to manage consent requirements and comply with privacy and other laws, and to meet our other legal obligations.
We do not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning consumers.
6. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify any individual.
We do not sell Personal Information for money. However, some state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include allowing third-party advertising and analytics companies to collect information from your browser through cookies and similar technologies. Under those laws, our use of advertising cookies, described in Section 8, may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information or "targeted advertising." Sections 9, 12, and 13 explain how to opt out.
We share Personal Information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share Personal Information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, including our website platform, booking and practice-management software, email and marketing platform, payment processors, analytics providers, and customer-support tools. These vendors may use Personal Information only to provide their services to us.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics runs only after you allow statistics cookies in our cookie banner. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Advertising partners. We use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our advertising and to show you ads for our Services on other websites and apps, and we use HubSpot for marketing. These tools run only after you allow marketing cookies in our cookie banner. These partners may combine the information collected on our Site with information they hold about you and use it under their own privacy policies: Google, Meta, and HubSpot. When you allow marketing cookies, we may also share a hashed (mathematically scrambled) version of your email address with these partners so they can recognize you and measure our ads. Hashing does not make data anonymous.
- Legal and security purposes. We share Personal Information with regulators, law enforcement, and other public authorities to comply with law and legal process, to respond to lawful requests, and to protect the life, property, or security of CatsOnly and our clients.
- Enforcement of our rights, including for billing and collection.
- Business transfers. If CatsOnly or its business is sold or transferred, including by merger, stock purchase, asset sale, bankruptcy, or reorganization, Personal Information may be disclosed to and transferred to the buyer or successor. Any prospective buyer conducting due diligence would be required to sign a confidentiality agreement covering your Personal Information, and we would make reasonable efforts to require a transferee to use it consistently with this Privacy Policy.
We will not disclose your text-messaging opt-in or consent to any third party for its own marketing purposes.
7. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We protect Personal Information through technical and administrative measures designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or use. Personal Information is stored by service providers that are regularly engaged in secure data storage and that maintain industry-standard security programs.
No transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to the Site. Any transmission is at your own risk. If you are ever given a password for any part of our Services, keep it confidential.
8. COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
8.1 How We Use Tracking Technologies
We use the following Tracking Technologies on the Site:
- Cookies: small text files placed on your device by the Site (first-party cookies) or by our service providers and partners (third-party cookies). Cookies can be "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
- Local storage: information stored in your browser by scripts on the Site, used in the same way as cookies.
- Pixels and web beacons: small files or code in pages and emails that tell us and our partners whether a page was viewed, an email was opened, or a link was clicked.
8.2 Categories of Cookies and What They Do
Our cookie banner groups cookies into four categories. A complete, current list of every cookie and tracker on the Site, who sets it, what it does, and how long it lasts is available on our Your Privacy Choices page at catsonly.vet/privacy-choices.
- Strictly necessary. These keep the Site working and remember your cookie choice. They include cookies set by our website platform (Duda) to deliver pages, remember your time zone, and count visits for the platform's built-in site statistics, the security cookies of our service providers, and the cookie that records your consent. They always run and cannot be switched off.
- Preferences. These remember settings that change how the Site behaves or looks. We currently use only the display preference of our online booking tool.
- Statistics. These help us understand how visitors use the Site by collecting and reporting information in aggregate. Providers: Google Analytics and HubSpot (page views and form interactions).
- Marketing. These are used to measure our advertising and to show you ads for our Services on other websites and apps. Providers: Google Ads (conversion tracking and remarketing), Meta Pixel, and HubSpot's advertising features.
Preferences, statistics, and marketing cookies do not run until you allow them. If you take no action on the banner, only strictly necessary cookies run.
8.3 Our Online Booking Tool
Our appointment booking tool is provided by a third party, Digitail. When the booking tool is displayed on a page, Digitail's software may use its own cookies and analytics tools, including session-recording technology from Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity, which can record how you interact with the booking tool.
Digitail processes this information under its own privacy policy.
8.4 How You Can Opt Out of Cookies
You can control cookies on the Site in three ways:
- The cookie banner. When you first visit, the banner lets you allow all cookies, deny all non-essential cookies, or customize your choice by category.
- Your Privacy Choices. At any time, visit catsonly.vet/privacy-choices, linked in the footer of every page, to change or withdraw your consent and to see the full cookie declaration.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your Personal Information. The banner shows that the signal was recognized, and marketing cookies stay off unless you turn them on yourself. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Your cookie choice is stored in the browser and device you are using. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you will be asked again.
You can also refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies entirely, some parts of the Site may not work.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common standard for interpreting DNT, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. We do respond to Global Privacy Control signals, as described above.
9. HOW TO MANAGE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
- Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. This does not stop transactional messages such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and billing notices.
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, as described in our Terms of Use.
- Cookies and targeted advertising. Use the cookie banner or the Your Privacy Choices page described in Section 8.4, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
- Other requests, including to opt out of the sharing of Personal Information collected other than through cookies, email support@catsonly.vet or use the contact details in Section 16.
Our advertising partners also offer their own opt-out tools, including Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com and Meta's ad preferences within your Facebook or Instagram account settings. When you opt out of targeted advertising you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
10. OUR RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We keep Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide the Services to you, to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain business and financial records, and to keep our Services secure. Veterinary medical records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Where we process Personal Information based on your consent, we keep it until you withdraw consent or it is no longer needed. Legal requirements, such as record-retention rules or litigation holds, may require us to keep some information longer.
11. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES AND SERVICES
The Site links to third-party websites, tools, and services for your convenience. We do not endorse them, control them, or guarantee the accuracy of their content. Your relationship with any third party is governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy. If you visit our social media pages through links on the Site, anything you post there may be viewed by the public and is governed by that platform's policies.

- Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. As described in Section 6, our use of advertising cookies may be a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. The categories that may be sold or shared in this way are identifiers, internet activity, commercial information, and approximate location. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
- Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share; to delete it; to correct it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this option); and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
